Andrea Eichhorn is an Executive Consultant on the IBM Big Data Insurance team within the Software Group. She has 30+ years of business and consulting experience across a range of industries, developing and delivering operational strategies and technical solutions. For the past 10 years Andrea has focused on the Insurance Industry, quickly being recognized for her leadership on driving improvements to the customer/agent experience. For the past four years she has been helping clients understand and implement information and big data solutions to drive overall business differentiation. She recently led a first of a kind IBM solution supporting Claims Fraud detection and is responsible for evolving IBM’s Big data point of view around Producer Effectiveness.

Prior to joining IBM Software Group she was an Associate Partner on the Global Consulting Services team, helping clients define operational strategies to improve call centers, marketing, sales and other customer facing processes/organizations.

Her experience spans life, annuity, retirement, health care, personal, commercial, specialty and workers compensation lines of business. Prior to IBM she was a Director in the Cross Industry Operational Strategy Practice at PwC working across Banking, Financial Markets and Insurance. Andrea began her career at Pepsico where she held a range of roles, including: strategy development, operational planning, new business startups and CFO of non-traditional business.

Beth Ackerman is an Information Architect on the IBM Big Data Architecture and Center of Excellence Team within the Software Group. She has 30+ years of business and consulting experience across insurance industries, developing and delivering effective strategies and technical solutions in support of the strategies. For the past 2+ years she has been helping clients understand and implement information and big data solutions to drive overall growth and business differentiation. She is responsible for evolving IBM’s Big Data architecture point of view around Producer Effectiveness.

Her insurance experience spans personal, commercial, life, annuity, retirement, health care, specialty and workers compensation lines of business. Prior to IBM she was Chief Enterprise Architect at California State Automobile Association, Sr. Director of Enterprise Architecture at Health Care Service Corporation, and Chief Architect at Kemper Insurance Companies.
